Hyperspectral LED bar

Industrial LED lighting bar designed for use with hyperspectral cameras.

The HSG-BlackBright illumination bar unit is designed for hyperspectral imaging and was originally developed for the BlackIndustry VNIR Sensor. Therefore it offers a broad and stable spectral distribution in the range of 430 nm - 1050 nm.
The LED line light features a compact design and homogeneous light distribution over the illuminated line. The light intensity can be dimmed segment by segment via a software interface. The lighting is configured and supplied with power via an industrial plug.

Broadband LED lighting unit
The LED unit can be configured via a PC using PWM modulation, thereby generating uniform illumination over the entire illumination area. Furthermore, the lighting strip can be configured with a plastic light exit window that provides splinter protection. In industrial in-line applications the high energy consumption of lighting units is significantly reduced.

Thanks to a combination of special reflector technology and Fresnel optics, high efficiency can be achieved with very homogeneous lighting conditions. The standard design is configured with a working distance of approx. 500 mm (200 mm - 1000 mm on request) from the light emission surface and illuminates a strip approx. 30 mm wide.

The lighting unit has a modular design. An arrangement of individual elements each 150 mm long. Variable lengths from 360 to 2160 mm are available on request. This LED line light is ideal for hyperspectral sorting and inspection applications.
