Bitflow nace en 1993 con el objeto de desarrollar la fabricación de frame grabbers y sooftware específicos para aplicaciones de imagen industrial. Su especialidad principal es la adquisición de imágenes provenientes de cámaras de alta resolución y frame rate. Durante este tiempo han desarrollado frane grabbers con los interfaces de comunicación más utilizados como son los analógicos, Cameralink, LVDS, RS422 y uno de los últimos y más potentes el CoaXPress con el que se llegan a tasas de transferencia de hasta 6Gbs.
